Ford Mustang Fuel Injector

The fuel injectors on your Ford Mustang vaporize the fuel sent from the fuel pump and mix it with air for combustion. Since the early 1980s, nearly all new vehicles have been equipped with fuel injectors. Your Mustang likely has one fuel injector per cylinder, and in the majority of cases, failure involves only one injector. Fuel injectors can suffer from wiring problems, become clogged, or simply wear out with time. Bad injectors can cause starting problems, rough idling, or poor gas mileage. Injectors are sealed with O-rings and these can also fail, causing fuel leaks. If you need to replace the O-rings, fuel injectors, or other fuel system parts on your Mustang, shop O'Reilly Auto Parts for a full selection.
