Alignment ball joints are used to adjust the camber of your vehicle's wheels by offsetting the ball joint for lowered vehicle applications, allowing for more controlled movement and alignment adjustment when modifying your vehicle. When a vehicle's suspension is lowered, it can result in the tire tread failing to make complete contact with the ground. This can cause abnormal tire wear on the inner edge of the tire. An alignment ball joint allows you to adjust and offset the camber angle more than the original equipment to account for the vehicle's altered suspension geometry so your tires can make adequate contact with the road. Aligning your vehicle's suspension properly can keep it from pulling in one direction, and helps prevent premature suspension and tire wear.
