Fuel Tank
- Empty your tank of any leftover gas from last season.
- Fill up with fresh gasoline.
- Use a quality marine fuel treatment that fights Ethanol problems, provides extra corrosion protection and fuel system cleaning.

Battery
- If your battery wasn’t on a maintainer in the off-season, give it a good, slow trickle charge.
- If your battery’s condition is questionable, have it tested at your local O’Reilly Auto Parts store.

Electrical
- Check spark plugs and wires for damage.
- If a spark plug needs to be replaced, chances are another will go bad soon, so save some time and replace them all.
- Inspect fuses and replace any that are damaged.

Oil & Lubricants
- Inspect oil injection unit and clean or replace as needed.
- Replace oil filter if it was not done in the fall.
- Inspect prop shaft and lubricate if necessary.
- Inspect and re-lube other parts as needed.
Trailer
A little pre-season maintenance on your boat trailer will go a long way in getting you to and from the water.
