Marker lights and clearance lights allow your vehicle or trailer to be more visible on the road while hauling. These lights are necessary, and are often required by law, to operate your vehicle safely. When installing new or replacement clearance or marker lights on your vehicle or trailer, installing a light housing grommet may also allow for flush-mounting and provide shock absorption for longer lamp life. Over time, your clearance or marker lights may burn out or develop electrical issues if the connectors corrode or are exposed to moisture. This may cause your lights to flicker, work intermittently, or not work at all. The marker and clearance light lenses can also be damaged in an accident, or may suffer wear and crack due to exposure to UV rays or other elements over time.
