2006 Saturn Vue - Clutch Switch
A clutch switch, also called a clutch sensor or clutch safety switch, is an electrical component found in vehicles equipped with a manual transmission that helps start the vehicle. When the clutch is engaged, this safety switch closes and allows power to run from the ignition to the starter relay, and then to the starter solenoid to start the vehicle. Clutch switches also disable cruise control in the event that you cannot engage the clutch for increased safety.
