Ford Mustang Cooling Fan Motor Relay

The cooling fan motor relay installed in your Ford Mustang operates your cooling fan depending on the temperature of your engine and minimizes the risk of your engine overheating. If there is an electrical failure in the fan relay, it may result in your Mustang's cooling fan working intermittently or not activating at all. If you notice loud fan noises while driving, and your fan never deactivates, you may need to replace the relay. Without a working cooling fan, your Mustang's engine may overheat, which may cause permanent engine damage if left unrepaired.
