Ford Mustang Door Lock Actuator

The door lock actuator in your Ford Mustang is an electric motor inside your door that operates the lock mechanism when you use the door lock switch or fob. A failing actuator may cause unusual noises when activated. If your Mustang has a door lock that is working intermittently, only working one way, or not activating at all, it may indicate a worn out door lock actuator. It's also possible for a blown fuse or an electrical failure in the wiring connector or relay to cause all of your power door locks to stop functioning. In some cases, if you can still use your fob, you may need to replace the door lock switch. When you need to repair the power door locks on your Ford Mustang, O'Reilly Auto Parts has replacement door lock actuators, door lock switches, and other power lock components for a complete repair.
