2007 Jeep Wrangler - Instrument Panel Light Bulb
What is an Instrument Panel Light Bulb?
The instrument panel is the part of your dashboard that sits directly behind the steering wheel and houses the gauges and displays that provide important information for the driver to monitor while on the road. These gauges, warning lights, and more communicate information on your tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) anti-lock braking system (ABS), engine temperature, fuel level, your Check Engine light, and much more. These gauges and lights need to be visible and easy to read at night, and the instrument panel light bulb illuminates your instrument panel gauges to make them easier to read at night. If one or more instrument panel bulbs burn out on your dash, it can make the instrument panel hard to see at night. If all of your instrument panel lights go out, you may have a blown fuse or faulty dimmer switch. Your vehicle's tail lights are often also powered by the same fuse as your instrument panel light bulbs, and may also not work if the fuse is damaged or blown. If one or more of your instrument panel lights are not working, but the bulbs are in good condition, the light bulb socket may be damaged or corroded. This can break the connection and cause the lights to not work properly or at all. If one or more of your instrument panel light bulbs need to be replaced, O'Reilly Auto Parts carries replacement interior bulbs for most vehicles.
