2007 Jeep Wrangler - Turn Signal Socket
What is a Turn Signal Light Socket?
The turn signals on your vehicle are important safety features used to communicate to other driver's which direction you will be turning or traveling on the road. The turn signal light bulb mounts inside of the turn signal light socket, which is then installed in the turn signal assembly. The bulb fits securely inside the light socket, and is connected to the wiring harness to receive power when the turn signal is activated by the driver. Over time, the turn signal bulb socket can become damaged or corroded, and may not make a complete connection with the turn signal light bulb to illuminate the light. If you notice a dim or flickering turn signal, or if your turn signal doesn't work at all, inspect the turn signal bulb and the condition of the turn signal socket. If the turn signal bulb is damaged or burnt out, you may only need to replace the bulb. But if replacing the bulb doesn't solve the problem, or if the socket is corroded, you may need to replace the turn signal light socket. If you need to replace or repair your turn signal light socket, bulb, or relay, O'Reilly Auto Parts carries the parts and tools you need to complete your repair and stay safe on the road.
