Parking Lamp Socket Replacement

A parking lamp socket connects the parking lamp bulb or marker light bulb to the vehicle's electrical system, and secures the bulb in place. Parking lamps, sometimes called side marker lights or clearance lights, are typically located on the front and rear sides of a vehicle to provide increased visibility of the vehicle, especially in low-light conditions or when parked. Over time, the parking light socket may develop corrosion, preventing an appropriate connection with the bulb and limiting the transfer of power. This can cause intermittent operation, prevent the bulb from operating at all, or the bulb may appear dim or flicker. It's also possible for the parking light socket to be damaged in the event of an accident, or it can become brittle and suffer damage over time that makes it difficult to secure in the lens housing.
