Ford Focus Fuses

The fuses in your Ford Focus are designed to prevent the electrical system from damage caused by voltage spikes or shorts. Fuses have wires that break or melt to protect a circuit in your Focus' electrical system, and are rated slightly above the normal amperage draw for the circuit. Never replace a blown fuse with a fuse that has a higher rating or bypass a fuse, as this may cause electrical system damage if the amperage rating for the circuit is exceeded. If a fuse is blowing frequently, your Ford Focus has an electrical problem or short that needs to be addressed before the circuit can be used. If one or more of your Ford's electrical systems aren't working, check the fuse for that system, which may include the radio, power locks, power windows, and interior lights for your Focus. O'Reilly Auto Parts carries fuses for your Ford Focus to help you keep your electrical system working as it should.
