A circuit breaker is a reusable fuse that severs electrical connections when the current is overdrawn to provide circuit protection. Unlike a fuse in the vehicle's fuse box that can only be used once until it fails, a circuit breaker does not have to be replaced. Instead, it can be reset and continue to work properly once the electrical short or other system issues have been repaired.
