Fuel Injection Plenum Gasket Replacement

A fuel injection plenum gasket is a crucial component in the intake system of a fuel-injected engine, and maintains a seal between the intake manifold and the plenum chamber. This is the area where the fuel and air mixture is distributed to the engine's cylinders to help engines run their best. The plenum gasket is typically made of rubber, silicone, or a composite material with high heat and chemical resistance to prevent air or fuel to leak and ensure a proper seal between the intake manifold and the plenum chamber. When a plenum gasket fails, the engine may pull in unfiltered air. This may allow debris and dust into the engine, which can block valves and corrode cylinders over time.
