2000 Chevrolet Blazer - Differential Carrier Gear Kit

The differential carrier, also called the spider gears, is the connection point between the differential's ring and pinion gears and the axle shaft. As the pinion shaft rotates, it engages the ring gear which provides power to the carrier and then to the axles. This allows the wheels to turn at different speeds as necessary when turning and provides appropriate traction to the wheels if the vehicle is stuck or the tires are slipping.
