Ford F-Series Clutch Slave Cylinder

The clutch slave cylinder on your Ford F-Series receives pressure from the clutch master cylinder when the clutch pedal is depressed, causing the slave cylinder to release the clutch so you can change gears. Over time, the cylinder can corrode, or the seals inside the slave cylinder may wear out and deteriorate, allowing fluid to leak. If your Ford truck has a leak down the clutch pedal on the inside of the cab, or if the fluid in the reservoir looks dirty or dark-colored, the clutch slave cylinder or master cylinder may need to be replaced. If the clutch master cylinder loses enough fluid due to a system leak, it may also cause you to not be able to disengage the clutch, making driving your Ford truck difficult or impossible. O'Reilly Auto Parts carries clutch slave cylinders, clutch master cylinders, and clutch sets for your Ford F-Series, so you can get your truck back on the road.
