2013 Dodge Challenger - Clutch Cable
The clutch cable connects the clutch linkage to the clutch pedal in vehicles equipped with a manual transmission. When the clutch pedal is depressed, the cable pulls on the clutch link to disengage the clutch so you can shift gears. Over time, the clutch cable can wear out. This may cause issues shifting into gear or transmission slippage. You may also notice a hard-clutch pedal if the cable becomes stuck or jammed. Do not press on a hard-clutch pedal or it may break the cable. If your clutch cable snaps, your clutch pedal will sink to the floor, and you won't be able to disengage your clutch. If you need a replacement, shop O'Reilly Auto Parts. We can help you find the right clutch cable for your vehicle.
