What is a Variable Timing Solenoid Gasket?

The variable timing solenoid gasket is a component used to maintain a proper seal and prevent oil leaks in the variable valve timing (VVT) system. This system uses solenoids that release pressurized oil to camshaft phasers to alter and control the engine's valve timing, raise a vehicle's fuel efficiency, increase horsepower, and lower emissions.
