Bad Transmission Mount Symptoms
The automatic transmission mount supports and stabilizes the transmission, and attaches it to the vehicle's frame to keep it securely in place. The transmission mount is also designed to absorb the vibrations and shock produced by driving to prevent them from affecting or damaging the transmission.
