2007 Toyota Tacoma - Suspension Knuckle Assembly
Your suspension knuckle assembly provides a frame attachment point for your hub and wheel bearings. Often the suspension knuckle will be connected to ball joints to allow it to move with the vehicle's suspension. In the front of the vehicle, the suspension or steering knuckle assembly will also have a mounting point for the tie rods. A steering or suspension knuckle assembly may be damaged in the case of an accident, or driving on especially rough roads. When this happens, your hub assembly may not be secured to the vehicle, and this could easily cause an accident. Because the suspension knuckle assembly is the center point for much of your suspension, it should be fixed as soon as possible.
