Ford Mustang Water Pump

Your Ford Mustang's water pump pushes coolant throughout the engine to ensure it stays at an optimal temperature. The water pump includes an impeller inside the engine's water channel that is driven by a pulley attached to the engine's belt. Over time, the water pump gasket, impeller, or bearing in the water pump may fail. This can lead to overheating, coolant leaks, or steam coming from under the hood. If the water pump is failing, you may notice squeaking from the water pump pulley. If the water pump for your Ford Mustang has failed, shop O'Reilly Auto Parts for a replacement pump. We also carry the antifreeze, radiator hose, and serpentine belt you might need for a complete repair.
