Ford F-Series Drag Link

The drag link in your Ford F-Series is found between the pitman arm and steering linkage. As the steering wheel turns, the pitman arm moves back and forth and moves the drag link to push and pull on the steering linkage to turn the wheels. Drag links often include bushings to keep them tight while operating, and may be adjustable during an alignment as well. If you start to feel vibration or looseness in the steering wheel or if your F-Series starts pulling to one side, then you may need a new drag link. A failing drag link can also lead to uneven tire wear and poor alignment, accelerating wear on the rest of the steering system. O'Reilly Auto Parts carries drag links, idler arms, tie rods, and more for your Ford F-Series truck so you can make a full steering repair and restore its handling.
