Spring U-Bolts - Square

If your vehicle has a leaf spring suspension, you will likely need one of two types of leaf spring U-bolts. The leaves for the leaf spring are attached to a shackle at the frame and then to the axle. Leaf springs are either placed above or below your vehicle's axle. If your leaf spring is positioned above your vehicle's axle, you will need a square leaf spring U-bolt. The square leaf spring U-bolt wraps around the leaves and attaches to the axle using a plate. If you notice increased shakiness or noise beneath your vehicle, check your leaf spring and leaf spring U-bolt.
