Chevrolet Impala Sway Bar Link

The sway or stabilizer bar on your Chevrolet Impala tethers both sides of the suspension to the frame to prevent the sway and motion that may be felt when making a turn. The sway bar is connected to the control arms using sway bar links, which are straight rods with bushings on either end or z-shaped bars with bushings or ball joints. The sway bar links can wear out over time as the bushings wear down or dry out, which can cause the sway bar on your Impala to become loose and fail to reduce sway. Signs that the stabilizer bar links on your Impala are damaged or worn out could include clunking sounds from the front of the vehicle when turning, swaying or rocking when turning, or visible damage or looseness in the sway bar links. O'Reilly Auto Parts has replacement sway bar links to fit your Chevrolet Impala, along with the tools you need to complete the repairs.
