Nissan Altima Sway Bar Link

The sway bar or stabilizer bar on your Nissan Altima keeps the two sides of your suspension tethered to each other and the frame, helping to prevent the swaying feeling you might otherwise experience when making turns. Sway bar links connect the sway bar to the control arm and helps to keep your car balanced and stable when turning. Sway bar links are most often a straight rod with bushings at the ends, or a Z- shaped bar with studs or bushings on both ends. Sway bar links can wear out with time and become loose. If the stabilizer bar links on your Altima should fail, they can cause a clunking noise from the front of the car and handling can suffer. You may also feel more body roll in your Altima when taking fast turns. If you need to replace the sway bar links on your Nissan Altima, O'Reilly auto parts carries complete sway bar kits and stabilizer bar bushings and links so you can perform a full repair.
