Jeep Wrangler Drag Link

The drag link in your Jeep Wrangler is found between the steering linkage and pitman arm, or may be part of a tie rod assembly. As the steering wheel turns, the pitman arm moves the drag link back and forth, pushing and pulling on the steering knuckles or spindles to turn your vehicle. Drag links also typically have joints at one or both ends to allow it to articulate with the motion of the steering and suspension. The drag link's joints can begin to wear with time and may become loose, causing looseness in your steering. If you begin to feel vibration or looseness in the steering wheel, if your Wrangler seems to pull to one side, or if your tires are wearing unevenly or your alignment is off, then you should check your drag link and replace it if it is worn. Shop O'Reilly Auto Parts to replace your drag link on your Jeep Wrangler to help you maintain a healthy steering and suspension system.
