Ford Focus Ball Joint

The ball joints on your Ford Focus have three pieces; a ball with a threaded stud, a rubber boot, and a socket. This design allows the ball joint and suspension to move at different angles for steering or when your Focus goes over bumps. The ball joint also acts as the connection point for the steering knuckle, control arm, and the remainder of the suspension. If the ball joints on your Ford Focus have grease fittings, they should be greased at every oil change to prevent squeaking and wear or damage. If your Ford Focus is pulling to one side, has uneven tire wear, or if it makes clunking sounds when going over bumps or making tight turns, you may have a failing ball joint. If your Focus needs replacement ball joints, control arms, or other suspension parts, O'Reilly Auto Parts carries the right parts to make a full repair.
