Toyota Camry Parking Brake Cable

The parking brake cable, or emergency brake cable, on your Toyota Camry connects the hand lever or mechanical foot brake to the rear brakes. This system is separated from the main hydraulic brake system, and can help stop your vehicle if the hydraulic brakes fail.
