Jeep Wrangler ABS Speed Sensor

The Jeep Wrangler's anti-lock braking or ABS speed sensor relays speed information about each wheel to the Wrangler's computer, which activates the ABS system if it senses a wheel is losing traction. When this speed sensor becomes erratic or it wears out, it can lead to problems with maintaining a consistent speed when using cruise control or erratic speedometer readings. If a wheel speed sensor isn't sending accurate information, it can also cause problems with your traction and stability control systems. When the sensor fails entirely, the ABS warning light may stay on. If you need a replacement, shop O'Reilly Auto Parts to find the right ABS speed sensor for your Jeep Wrangler.
