Jeep Wrangler Refrigerant Oil

The refrigerant oil in your Jeep Wrangler allows your working A/C components to stay lubricated and sealed against potential leaks. Since the refrigerant oil is mixed in with refrigerant, any A/C refrigerant loss due to a leak or during a repair may result in refrigerant oil loss as well. Low refrigerant oil levels may lead to inefficient cooling, or squeaking and squealing from the A/C compressor due to improper lubrication. This can also cause the compressor to overheat or fail. When repairing an A/C leak or replacing an A/C component, make sure to consult your Wrangler's owner's manual for the correct type and amount of A/C refrigerant and oil to add. Refrigerant oil is only compatible with certain types of refrigerant, and can vary depending on the year of your Wrangler. Find the right A/C chemicals for your Jeep Wrangler repair at O'Reilly Auto Parts, where we carry refrigerant, refrigerant oil, and other A/C parts for a complete air conditioning repair.
