How to Change the Cabin Air Filter on a 2015-2020 Ford F-150

Replacing the cabin air filter on your Ford F-150 should be a part of regular maintenance to keep your heating and air conditioning system working at its best. Installing a new cabin air filter in your F-150 can help reduce the number of contaminants and allergens in the interior, and can help keep the interior of your truck clean. A clogged cabin air filter can limit airflow from the vents, and may cause musty odors if not replaced regularly. Your owner’s manual may provide the cabin air filter replacement interval for your F-150, but it can be changed more frequently if you frequently drive in dusty conditions or heavy traffic. We will be replacing the cabin air filter on this 2015 Ford F-150, but the procedure will be same on most 2015-2020 F-150s and select Ford Expeditions.
