Prepare Your Vehicle

Step 1: Prepare Your Vehicle
Your cabin air filter is located behind the glove box. Empty your glove box contents.

Step 2: Lower the Glove Box
Push the middle tab at the top of the glove box so it can be lowered.

Step 3: Remove the Glove Box

Remove the glove box completely by lifting up on both sides so the tabs at the back can slip out. Set the glove box assembly aside.

Remove Old Cabin Filter

Step 4: Lift The Cabin Filter Housing Cover

Push up on the two bottom clips of the cabin air filter housing to disengage and lift the housing cover.

Step 5: Remove The Old Cabin Filter

Pull the old filter out of the housing.

Do It Right: Make sure to clean any dust or debris out of the inside before installing your new filter.

Step 6: Install the New Cabin Air Filter

Install your new cabin air filter, making sure the airflow arrows are pointed downward. Reengage the bottom housing cover clips by snapping it shut.

Step 7: Replace the Glove Box

Lift the glove box back into place and insert the tabs into their slots at the rear of the assembly. Raise the glove box so that the tab in the middle slips back into place. Be sure to replace any items you took out of the glove box.
