What Are the Rules of the Gambler 500?

  • This is not a race.
  • There is no $500 rule.
  • This is the world’s largest and most competitive trail cleanup.
  • Bring trash bags to the trail with you. Dumpsters will be provided on-site for disposal.
  • You are responsible for your actions. Make sure they meet everyday legal standards.

About Tate Morgan - Founder of Gambler 500

Tate Morgan here, creator of the Gambler 500. If anybody knows how to keep a raggedy vehicle going for five hundred miles—and the stuff it takes to make it happen—it’s probably me. As an OG Gambler, I can tell you it takes the highest-quality products to keep the lowest-quality vehicles going. That’s why you need to check out this list of essentials I keep in my own garage. Any Gambler would be wise to consider taking this stuff along on their next adventure.

“A tool set – wrenches, pliers, knives, all those sorts of things – come in handy as you navigate trails in your Gambler car.”

O’Reilly Brake Cleaner

O’Reilly Brake Cleaner

“Sure, it’s good at cleaning brakes; it’s also good at cleaning oil and grease.”
