Detailed Description

Engine Heater; Freeze Plug Heaters are used to heat the engine fluids of gas and diesel vehicles to ensure quicker winter starts and reduce engine wear in cold weather. The heater is operated using standard household AC power and the heat generated is distributed throughout the engine by the convective flow of the warmed coolant. Highest rated; most efficient type of heater on the market today. The V-Loc locking system provides quick; trouble-free installation. Plated stamped steel and forged brass adapters with copper heating elements for maximum life and efficiency.

Agricultural, Industrial and Heavy Duty Applications:

  • Allis-Chalmers Tractors With 170 Diesel; Replaces left second from rear freeze plug. Install element in either up or down position.
  • International/Navistar 966, 1066, 1086 and 1466 Tractors; Replaces third and fourth freeze plugs on the left side (2 heaters required). A circulation heater is an acceptable alternative.
  • Massey Ferguson MF-35, 40, 50, 150, 203, 205, 235, 2135 and 2200 (AD3-152). Installs in right side. Point element in down position. Circulation heater is an acceptable alternative.
  • MF-175, 180 and 265 (AD4-236). Install in Left, second from rear. Install element in either up or down position. Circulation heater is acceptable alternative.
  • MF-1100, 1105, 1130 and 1135 (A6-354). Install in Left, second from rear. Install element in up position. Circulation heater is acceptable alternative.
  • Perkins 3-152 (C Series With 3 Cylinder), 900 Series (CN). Install in right side. Point element at 6 o'clock.
  • 4-108 (E Series With 4 Cylinder), 4-236 (LD 4 Cylinder), 4.248 (LF 4 Cylinder) and 4-248-2 (LG 4 Cylinder). Install in left, second from rear. Install element in either up or down position.
  • T Series: 6-354 (6 Cylinder), 6-354.4 (4 Cylinder) and 6-372 (4 Cylinder). Install in right rear. Point element at 12 o'clock.
