Detailed Description

Multi-Purpose Sensor;

The engine coolant temperature sensor is located anywhere within the engine cooling system and contains a thermistor that changes in resistance value as the thermistors ambient temperature changes. The engine coolant temperature sensor is a primary input to the engine computer for fuel injection pulse width, ignition timing and other primary system operating control features. Tin plated lead frame prevents corrosion and ensures a reliable terminal connection under adverse ambient conditions. Lead frame terminal size and location determined using image dimension measuring system or 3D laser scanner. Thermally conductive grease within the housing providing the most accurate temperature transfer from the engine to the thermistor. Plated brass or aluminum housings to prevent housing corrosion, ensures effective heat distribution to thermal element and ensure a secure and leak-free thread mount. Computer-Aided Design (CAD), laser scanning and 3D printing - utilizing Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and Stereolithography (SLA) - in the connector terminal design process ensures speed-to-market and a precise connector fit guaranteed.
