Made of 100% heavy-gauge stainless steel with a triple-bridge design, Murray Ultra thermostats provide enhanced strength, durability, and corrosion resistance, making them the most reliable thermostats on the market. Murray's proprietary valve technology prevents thermal shock and allows trapped air in the system to escape, while accurate spring load stabilizes temperature for increased cabin comfort and reduced engine warm-up delay. All Murray Ultra thermostats are also engineered with a wider opening for up to 50% more coolant flow, and include an added bypass valve allowing a small amount of coolant to circulate before fully opening to reduce the risk of engine hotspots. All Murray thermostats are manufactured and tested to meet or exceed OEM standards for quality, fit, and performance, and include all the necessary gaskets or seals for a complete repair solution (where applicable).
