When used in high performance or transplanted vehicles for off-road or strip use at times there may be a desire to eliminate the lock-up clutch function and fit the transmission with a torque converter with the lock-up clutch omitted. However, unless internal transmission modifications are made at the oil pump and valve body, doing this can result in a loss of coupling complaint-slippage and excessive heat build-up due to the converter not staying fully charged with fluid under heavy load and high RPM. This TransGo converter flow correction kit provides you with an easy-to-install, drop-in solution, that redirects converter flow to the primary pump area and allows the converter to stay fully charged under high load and RPM. This new valve system does not require any pump machining, cross-drilling or any modification to the pump or support. It does not require a TCC enable solenoid.
