Axalta Coating Systems is introducing Standox Basecoat MIX 817 - Crystal Rainbow (16817) to the Standox Basecoat system, offering painters easy application and blending and enhanced color accuracy. Standox Basecoat MIX 817 - Crystal Rainbow provides a transparent silvering effect. Standox Basecoat MIX 817 - Crystal Rainbow is a very limited use solventborne mixing toner (LUT) for General Motors (815T). Standox Basecoat MIX 817 will be available in only a 0.5-liter container size. The 0.5-liter containers will fit on a 1-liter shelf as is; if the container is to be placed on a 3.5-liter shelf, a platform will be required (Part #: E-4648 Fillon Magnetic Q/L platform (Quick Mix) (Box of 6)). Cases contain four 0.5-liter containers. Can be ordered out of case quantity (one 0.5-liter at a time). Intended for distributor mixing only. Do not equip body shops with this toner. This toner should be ordered on an AS-NEEDED basis only. It is recommended that collision centers check the vehicle's color code and availability as soon as the car enters the shop (and not when the car is ready to be painted). This color is nonreturnable. Mixed color information will be available electronically.
