REESE starter kits come complete with everything you need to set up your trailer hitch and tow safely. Each starter kit includes a ball mount with a pre-torqued hitch ball and Interlock technology to keep it securely in place on your ball mount. REESE starter kits also include either a pin and clip or a lock to keep the shank of the ball mount securely connected to your vehicle's receiver hitch. Each REESE ball mount is made from solid, all welded steel and has a Metal Shield finish and is specifically designed to work with 2-1/2 inch hitch receivers. The drop needed for each vehicle and trailer combination varies, so be sure to pair your vehicle and trailer correctly to achieve a level and safe towing setup.
