Detailed Description
CV Joint Banding Tool; Use to install and tighten the "band-it" or strap style clamps on CV joint boots, or on power steering rack and pinion steering gear boots. Once installed into the tool, tighten the band by turning the handle on the tool; use a socket or wrench on the handle to torque the band to OE specifications. When the boot clamp has been tightened to specs, cut the band to the correct length by flipping the lever at the front of the tool forward.
