Timing Belt Tensioner; Stock; Melling timing belt idlers are available as an individual part and also as a part of a timing set. Every PCI idler is designed and built to meet or exceed OEM requirements for the application. PCI timing belt idlers are built to enhance the life of the engine timing system and to keep the engine running smoothly.
An old timing idler is subject to worn parts and material failure including metal fatigue. Melling recommends a new timing idler with every engine rebuild. Melling timing idlers are manufactured to high component quality and material standards. A new timing idler should be a part of every timing install to ensure proper component installation and adjustment of the new timing system. New idlers are included in many Melling timing belt sets.
