Detailed Description
6 Inch Diameter; 5/16 Inch 24 Threaded Spindle; For Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) Discs; Designed for use with 6" PSA (sticky) backed sanding discs. This is a medium density pad that is more durable than the fine finishing pads. Firm enough for flat surfaces, yet soft enough for curved surfaces.
Abrasive interface and back-up pads help improve cuts and finishes while reducing vibration. By cushioning the movement of the disc, interface pads provide a more evenly-distributed pressure for increased precision, and are excellent for sanding curved surfaces or body panels that require a smooth and quality finish. The right back-up or interface pad may also be necessary for using different types of abrasive discs or connection styles, and can be customized to the way you work. If the material you're working with requires more precision machining, back-up pads are also available for polishing and buffing pads.
