Gates Modular Coolant Hose is manufactured to fit specific applications and are similar to OEM specifications to include specific essential integrated OE components such as hose branches, quick-connectors, sensors, restrictors, etc.
- Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum
- Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation - the leading cause of hose failure
- EPDM tube
- synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover
- Manufactured with OEM-exact hose components (quick connects, branch connectors/tees, sensors, etc.)
- Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 under 25mm (1 Inch) ID, SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 25mm (1 Inch) ID and over
- Temperature Range: -40 Degree Fahrenheit to +257 Degree Fahrenheit (-40 Degree Celsius to +125 Deg. C)
- Note: Gates recommends replacing clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed
- Caution: Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications
