Freon 134a automotive refrigerant from Chemours, formerly DuPont Suva 134a automotive refrigerant, is a known and trusted refrigerant used by automotive service technicians around the world. Made in the USA, Freon 134a (R-134a) refrigerant meets AHRI 700 and SAE2776 Purity Standards. Freon 134a is a non- ozone depleting hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant replacement for R-12. It is the standard for most mobile air conditioning systems in cars manufactured before 2015 and can also be used to retrofit existing R-12 mobile air conditioning systems. The shelf life of Freon 134a is at l east 10 years under normal storage conditions. This 12 ounce self-seal can of R-134a is compatible with most self-seal tooling and accessories.
