Edelbrock part number 15642 is a Supplemental Fuel Pump Kit is required for GM trucks and SUV's utilizing number 1564 Edelbrock Supercharger Systems. Locate your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Verify if your vehicle requires a supplemental fuel system upgrade. If digit 8 of your VIN (Engine Type) is represented by a C or J, your vehicle will require a supplemental fuel system. Now identify what Body Type your vehicle is by verifying VIN digit 7. Vehicles with a 3 will use the short wheel base kit number 15642. This system is not needed and will not work on Flex Fuel models as Flex Fuel vehicles come standard with adequate fuel systems. Electric In-Tank Pump. Made In The U.S.A.

The high quality construction results in a pump that is 4 to 14 dB quieter than competitors pumps at the same pressure. #1791 is factory preset to 6.5 psi and no regulator is required. With a replaceable screen type inlet filter and the free flow rate of 120 GPH is sufficient to supply 600 hp. #1792 has a free flow rate of 160 GPH, enough to feed a 1000 hp engine. This pump is factory preset to 12 psi and requires an external regulator such as the new Edelbrock regulator #1727. Warranty will be voided when used with diesel fuel.
