Edelbrock has exciting news for owners of the updated 2017-2022 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup with the new Gen 2 LGZ 3.6L V6 engine: they've just released their supercharger kit for the popular midsize truck equipped with the second-generation HFV6 engine. If you opted for the "best in class" horsepower of the V6 but wish you had even more passing power and torque to haul, this supercharger for the 2017-2021 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon lets you have the best of both worlds. With 345 horsepower and 306 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels, this Edelbrock supercharger boosts the V6 engine's power output by 24% and is designed to fit seamlessly under the stock Colorado/Canyon hood with no permanent modifications. The heart of the system is the R1740 TVS head unit that sits on top of an air-to-water intercooled manifold for low inlet air temperatures and increased power. The supercharger assembly has been integrated into the intake manifold for a seamless design with minimal components, eliminating the possibility of vacuum leaks between gasket surfaces. Edelbrock's inverted supercharger assembly is uniquely oriented, allowing for an incredible amount of intake runner length for maximizing low end torque. An integrated bypass valve helps eliminate parasitic loss under light throttle for improved mileage potential. E-Force superchargers feature the most unique & efficient inlet configuration on the market. This results in a shorter, less restrictive intake path for improved air flow, without the need for a jack-shaft.
