Multiple Displacement Solenoid;
Certain MDS solenoids have plastic housings and low-grade O-rings that fail in extreme heat. This Dorman OE FIX solution upgrades the plastic housing to aluminum and adds premium, compression-tested O-rings to prevent premature failures
- Upgraded design - this MDS solenoid replaces the original plastic housing with full aluminum construction for greater durability
- Complete assembly - solenoid includes new gasket and mounting bolt for a complete repair
- Application specific - made to directly replace the original MDS solenoid on certain Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep applications from 2005 to 2009
