A dial on top of the light body allows you to gradually increase or decrease light output, peaking at 750 lumens from the white chip on board (C.O.B.) utility beam. And to prevent "night-blindness", an anti-glare red LED option makes it easy to read in the dark or navigate with less reflection. The Rechargeable Plus power system runs the headlamp on a ZITHION-X(TM) ZX350 rechargeable battery (included) or on three AAA alkaline batteries (purchased separately). For long-lasting comfort, the non-slip COAST Ultra-Strap is made of breathable mesh fabric and features a quick-release buckle and reflective striping all the way around. A rear-facing safety signal on the back of the battery housing shines in solid red or flashing red with its own on/off switch so that others can easily spot you in the dark.
