Catalytic Converter Anti-Theft; Prevents catalytic converter theft with an impenetrable cutting barrier that destroys the cutting blade.
The CatStrap protects the length of the exhaust on any vehicle with ultra-hardened steel layers. The CatStrap (7ft length) has a heat-activated bond built-in and stainless-steel ties for secure attachment, in addition to hard exhaust clamps (sourced separately) for installation.
How the system works:
The CatStrap contains hidden ultra-hardened metals inside a high temperature aluminum casing that attaches to the catalytic converter and exhaust pipe. The CatStrap is attached with a combination of muffler clamps, stainless steel ties, and a heat-activated bond. Properly installed the CatStrap is designed to protect the exhaust pipe from the front engine manifold back to the muffler body, protecting the converter in between. Thieves are unable to cut through the strap and move on thus keeping your valuable property safe.
