Arnott's new replacement air compressor P-2986 is from WABCO - the original equipment supplier to Audi. Unlike compressors that are simply modified to fit the vehicle, this compressor was designed by WABCO specifically for the 2011 to 2018 Audi A8 Quattro and 2013-2018 S8 Quattro(D4) incorporating a high level integration mechatronics. This high-performance, yet quiet, WABCO compressor includes a maintenance-free integrated air dryer and comes completely assembled from the WABCO factory in Germany with an application specific air line, wiring harness and brackets. This direct replacement compressor comes in a WABCO box and is ready to install with included application-specific mounting hardware and a relay.
