Detailed Description

Wheel Bearing;

This bearing incorporates a magnetic encoder ring on one side of the cartridge. To identify the correct side, use a paper clip to find the magnetic ring. Do not use larger metal objects because it can damage the encoder ring. Special precautions must be taken during installation to ensure proper function of the ABS system. Remove any oil, grease, or other foreign material from the ring surface. Remove the speed sensor from the wheel knuckle so that it does not get damaged. Keep all magnetic tools away from the encoder ring. Be careful not to damage or impact the ring while pressing the bearing into the knuckle. The side with the magnetic encoder must be installed toward the inside of the steering knuckle. Part includes Magnetic Bearing Encoder.
